There are aspects of traveler culture which are beautiful and Up I love you to the death star and back sweater. Women are generally poorly treated. Girls overly sexualized from an early age and then married too young. Men forcing themselves on girls and women at a cultural ‘grab’ and a deliberate lack of general education does not make for a whimsical or romanticized opinion. They usually show up here in Sweden in the summertime. They approach homeowners and offer to fix their driveways or some other maintenance on their house. Usually, as soon as contact is taken, you’re screwed. If it’s not broken, they will break it so it can be “fixed”.
