Flea-mia Fahey, you are absolutely right. So many of the people writing back so emotionally appear not to have had much experience with animals, tame or wild. They just want to believe the most horrific, negative scenario and then run with it without getting further information. Look at the horse shows they have with the Lippizaner stallions; they are trained, not broken, and do amazing things.
